In this Mini- Project, we were put into groups and assigned a character from the book, The Absolute True Diary of a Part Time Indian. My group was assigned the character of Juniors coach. Coach wasn't that interesting of a character, he rarely came up, so we had a particularity difficult character. Even though, our group still did as much research and learned everything the book let us know about him.
I enjoyed this project so much because i was paired with group mates i didn't really talk to, and in the end they became my good friends. This project also helped me master audacity and showed me how to transport, sync and mix audio files. I also learned skills that I know I will need in my future school year, skills like making a topic interesting, getting a group on task, audacity, and learning how to incorporate your environment to make a more interesting podcast.
Before we started reading and created the podcast, Dr. P had us get an idea of how a podcast/interview would be done. So, he assigned us to interview our parents on their experience of enrolling us into High Tech. This was a golden moment I had in the interview with my Mom.
