LA MUSEUM OF HOLOCAUSTAt the LA Museum of the Holocaust, we took a tour to dive deeper into the Holocaust and truly try to understand the events that took place and the affect it had. At the end of the tour we met with a Holocaust survivor and she was able to tell us her story.
Hearing her story really inspired me to want to make a change in the world. She talked a lot about God and about how we need to better ourselves and it was so inspiring. SAN DIEGO HISTORY CENTERAt the San Diego History Center, we got to look at anti-semitism and the Jewish community as a history within San Diego. There was a time line on the wall that included big events that happened, but also smaller events that happened within San Diego. It was really cool and interesting to see all the difficulties that the Jewish Community faced. It was especially interesting because Jewish people were some of the original people to come to San Diego and to our county.

MUSEUM OF MANAt the museum of man, we got to get a tour through the race exhibit. At the beginning of the tour, we sat down in a circle and go to know eachother a little better. It was kind of weird because I knew everyone in my group so well. It wasn't pointless though because I learned something new about a couple people. The exhibit was really cool because it talked about race through time. It talked about a group of people that figured out what race they'd be and it was really interesting.
